The Enhanced version brings a new feature, “Atomic Memory”, which optimizes the RAM usage allowing phones to keep more apps in the background. The MIUI 12.5 Enhanced also drops the overall CPU usage by 15% and reduces power consumption by 8% in some cases. Meanwhile, “Liquid Storage” focuses on keeping the internal storage in optimum condition, slowing down the ageing of the phone’s internal storage. Xiaomi claims that the storage performance would degrade only 5% after 36 months of usage.

Xiaomi also says that the new update will fix around 160 system headers and 224 system application bugs.
