Microsoft is currently giving 8 months of free Game Pass to their subscribers in India. Well, not exactly 8 months, as they are giving away 7 months of Game Pass on the purchase of one month of Game Pass. This means, if you renew your Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate subscription, then on the price of 1 month of Game Pass, you would be getting 7 months of free Game Pass, making it a total of 8 months of service.
“The Reserve Bank of India recently added new requirements for processing recurring transactions through the RBI-E mandate, intended to enhance the safety and security of these transactions,” reads an email from Microsoft. “We at Microsoft are updating our payment systems to enable recurring payments in accordance with these requirements. In the meantime to help avoid disruption, we have added 8-months of Xbox Game Pass ultimate to your account at no additional charge so you don’t have to worry about making recurring payments during this time and can just enjoy playing games.”
