Xiaomi today hosted its annual Smarter Living event in India. During the event, the company announced a bunch of IoT products alongside the Mi Notebook Pro, Mi Notebook Ultra and Mi TV 5X. Let’s have a look at what Xiaomi has to offer this time.
Mi Smart Band 6
Xiaomi has finally brought the much-awaited Mi Smart Band 6 to India. The fitness band was launched earlier this year in China, and later it was made available globally. The Mi Smart Band 6 comes with quite a few upgrades over its predecessor.
The new Mi Smart Band 6 comes with a 1.56-inch full-screen AMOLED touch display with 450 nits of peak brightness. The fitness band offers more than 80 watch faces and 5 different colour straps. It comes with a 125mAh battery that lasts up to 14-days on a single charge.
The Mi Band 6 features a SpO2 and heart rate sensor, enabling oxygen saturation and heart rate monitoring. The fitness band now supports 30 sports modes rather than 11 on the last generation. It is compatible with Mi Fit App and Xiaomi Wear App with support to sync data with Strava, Google Fit and Apple Health.
The Mi Smart Band 6 will be available through Mi.com, Mi Homes, Amazon and retail stores across the country starting August 30, for Rs. 3,499. Existing Mi Band users can avail a discount of Rs. 500 on purchase of Mi Band 6 through Mi.com.
Mi Router 4A Gigabit Edition
The Mi Router 4A Gigabit Edition succeeds the Mi Router. 4C. The 4A is powered by a dual-core CPU, Quad thread processor, allowing users to connect upto 128 smart home devices together. The router comes with dual bands, supporting up to 300Mbps over the 2.4GHz band and 867Mbps over the 5GHz band. Using Dual-Frequency, the router automatically selects the optimal frequency for transmission.
Furthermore, it comes with an aluminium-magnesium alloy heat sink and high thermal conductive glue, keeping the router cool. The router can be controlled using the Mi Wi-Fi app. The app offers a bunch of features such as parental control, optimisation, suspicious device alert, software update and much more.
The Mi Router 4A Gigabit Edition will be available to purchase starting September 15 through Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Homes across the country for Rs. 2,199.
Mi 360° Home Security Camera 2K Pro
The Mi 360° Home Security Camera 2K Pro is the third security camera in the series. It comes with an F1.4 aperture and 6P Lens, recording videos at 2K resolution with a 118° field of view. Further, the security camera comes with high sensitivity image sensor, allowing it to record colour videos even in low lighting conditions. The 360° Home Security Camera 2K Pro comes with Dual-Band Wi-Fi connectivity supporting both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies. The camera also offers a dual mic for two way voice calling along with active noise reduction technology.
One can store their videos in the microSD card, free seven-day rolling cloud storage of motion-triggered video clips or NAS storage. Users can also live camera feed on their Mi or Redmi TVs. Moreover, the camera comes with support for both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
The Mi 360° Home Security Camera 2K Pro will be retailing for Rs. 4,499 through Mi.com, Mi Homes, Amazon and retail stores across the country starting September 15.
