Today, Xiaomi unveiled quite a few devices in India, including the top-of-the-line Mi 11 Ultra, Mi QLED TV 75, and Mi 11X series. In a nutshell, Mi 11X is rebranded Redmi K40 for the Indian market. The Xiaomi Mi 11X series has two smartphones, the Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro, and they are basically the Redmi K40 and K40 Pro.

    Mi 11X – Specifications

Mi 11X features a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch response rate. The panel comes with support for HDR 10+ and MEMC. Moreover, it offers a peak brightness of 1300-nits and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Just like the Redmi K40, this one is also powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. According to Xiaomi, Snapdragon 870 offers a 12% increase in performance than last year’s Snapdragon 865. It also features Xiaomi’s LiquidCool 1.0 technology and support for 5G connectivity. It runs MIUI 12.5 on top of Android 11 out of the box.

The smartphone comes with a 4,520mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It also has dual stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Audio support. Further, it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner also.

As for optics, Xiaomi’s latest budget flagship features a triple camera system at the back, lead by a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 5MP telephoto macro lens. It supports video recording up to 4K @ 30fps and slo-mo video recording in 1080p @ 960fps. On the front, it has a 20MP camera for selfies.

    Mi 11X Pro – Specifications

Like its sibling, the Pro variant is a rebranded Redmi K40 Pro. It brings the same set of specifications as its Redmi counterpart.

It follows the same design language as the vanilla model, and it also comes with the same 6.67-inch Full-HD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED panel. Even the front camera is the same 20MP camera found on the vanilla variant. The main difference between the two is that the Pro has a much superior chipset and cameras than the standard variant.

The Mi 11X Pro comes with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 888 SoC coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Thanks to the Snapdragon X60 5G modem, this one also supports 5G and WiFI 6E. Further, it also has LiquidCool technology.

Coming to optics, the triple camera system here is lead by Samsung’s 108MP HM2 sensor. It has the same 5MP telephoto macro camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera borrowed from the standard model.
