After several gaming phones, Lenovo’s predecessor to the Legion Duel is here, the Legion Duel 2, and it doubles up the gamer aesthetics.

Starting with the front, the Legion Duel 2 features a 6.92-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,460 x 1,080 pixels and a refresh rate of 144Hz with a whooping 720Hz touch sampling rate. Moreover, it has dual front-firing speakers and a bunch of triggers. There are two force touchpoints in the display, a pair of ultrasonic shoulder trigger on the side and a pair of capacitive keys on the back.

Like any other gaming phone of 2021, the Legion Duel 2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset coupled with up to 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. This might be as normal as other gaming phones, but that isn’t the case with Duel 2 thermal’s; the Duel 2 comes with two fans working together to keep it as cool as possible. According to Lenovo, the new mechanism is 30% more efficient than the one found in the first-gen Legion Duel.

The Legion Duel 2 comes with two USB-C ports, one on the side rail and one on the bottom, which can be used together to charge Duel 2’s two 2750mAh batteries at 90W; otherwise, you can just charge it using the 65W power adapter provided in the box. According to Lenevo, a full charge will last you 8 hours of interrupted gameplay.
