For people in the market for a powerful CPU, there is some good news, the 9th Generation Intel Core i7-9700K CPU is available at a discounted price of $374.99 on Amazon. The Intel Core i7-9700K is a 14nm Coffee Lake chip with 8 cores and 8 threads.

Although launched a while ago, the chip can still deliver amazing performance and getting it on a discount is a no-brainer. Generally available at a price north of $400, this CPU can currently be copped for a discounted price of just $374.99 from Amazon.

This article won’t be complete without mentioning the upcoming Ryzen 5 3600. If you’re not an Intel fanatic and wouldn’t mind using an AMD chip, waiting for the Ryzen 5 3600 would be a smarter move.

Retailing at just $199, the Ryzen 3600 can deliver better performance than the Core i7-9700K which, even on discount, costs almost twice as much. Ryzen 3600’s performance matches Intel’s 8th Generation i7 chips, which costs even more. With such value for money, it only makes sense to wait for this chip to hit the market rather than going for anything else, unless, of course, you are an exclusive Intel user. The third generation Ryzen chips hit the market on 7th July 2019.
