For a while now there have been speculations and leaks about the upcoming Pixel phones, Pixel 3a,
According to his posts, the Pixel 3a will have a 5.6-inch, 2220x1080p full HD+ display, giving the phone a pixel density of 441ppi. Looks like this time around Google will be using a gOLED display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The post states that battery in the 3a will be 3000 mAh and will support 18W fast charging.
The second post that focuses on the bigger variant, 3a XL, reveals a 6-inch screen with a lower resolution than the smaller phone at 2160x1080p, which is quite surprising. The 3a XL will have a more traditional 18:9 aspect ratio and a larger 3700 mAh battery, also
Not just hardware specifications, the post also shares some insights on the software and color variants. Both models will have an ‘Always On’ display coupled with Google’s Now Playing feature. and come in three color variants – Just Black, Clearly White and Purple-ish. The 3a will weight around 150 grams while the 3a XL will come in at 170 grams.
Ahead of Google I/O which will be held on May 7th, A YouTube channel by the name of ‘This is Tech Today’ has come up with some details about the pricing and packaging of the two phones. He claims to have been told by Google themselves that they will be revealing the price for the 3a and 3a XL at Google I/O. According to the YouTuber, the 3a and 3a XL will be priced at $399 and $479 respectively.
Adding to all these leaks and rumors are the alleged Geekbench results of the smaller variant. The phone, equipped with a mid-tier Snapdragon 670 and 4 GB of ram, scored 1625 points on single-core and 5206 on multi-core benchmark.
All these leaks, rumors and speculations will be laid to rest in 5 days at the conference which will be held at Shoreline Amphitheatre, California.
