AMD released the Ryzen 3000 series last year. While we usually see a new chipset accompanying a processor lineup launch, the mid-range B550 was missing at launch. The B550A motherboard was spotted in the wild at a Bestbuy pre-built PC recently, although the B550 was nowhere to be seen. There have been speculations about the release of the same since quite sometime and it seems like we are finally getting the B550 lineup.
Gigabyte has submitted their list of motherboards to Eurasian Economic Commission office.Gigabyte has a total of 12 motherboards lined up based on the B550 chipset. Out of the 12, 6 of them are of the AORUS lineup, which is Gigabyte’s flagship series.
Speaking of the blue side, we have a number of boards coming for Intel as well. Gigabyte has around 14 motherboards slated to launch based on the Z490 chipset. What’s notable is the new Vision series. This is a new addition to Gigabyte’s series’ of motherboards. It’ll be interesting to see what extra features the new series offers.
