Now that the official RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti benchmarks have been released (leaked I mean), the Final Fantasy XV website has also started displaying the RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti on their performance charts.
The 2070 seems to be amiss, but I suppose it’ll show up with time. The RTX cards are only included in the 1440p and 2160p (4K) benchmarks for the standard and high quality preset. It’s important to note that these performance charts are rough approximations or estimates and exact frame rates will vary depending on the rest of the system configuration, including CPU, RAM as well as the clock speeds they are run at.
The RTX 2080 Ti as per these benchmarks is 33% faster than the GTX 1080 Ti, while the 2080 is just inches ahead at 4K. On the other hand, the GTX 1080 is 38% slower than the RTX 2080 at the same resolution. The lead reduces to 29% for the RTX 2080 Ti at 1440p while the GTX 1080 also trails the RTX 2080 by just 25%.
Also, NVIDIA has released demo video showing what the RTX cards can truly achieve using ray-tracing in the game, Atomic Heart:
