New Gameplay footage of around 27 Seconds for the upcoming game from From Software, Elden Ring, has been leaked, and it does showcase a lot of things we haven’t really seen in a Soulsborne game. While the footage doesn’t show much as it is pretty short, there’s just an armoured character on a cliffside looking at a glowing tree, jumping over some rocks, and scaring a couple of eagles.

While the original video of this gameplay of Elden Ring has been taken down from YouTube, Jeff Grubb managed to post it on Twitter and apparently, this footage was taken from an Xbox One. Many people are saying it is from an Xbox One X due to the frame rate, but only time will tell what the game looks and plays like on that console.

One of the most notable things about what’s shown is that the player-character can pull off a standing jump, rather than needing to do a run-up as in the Dark Souls games. While it doesn’t suggest full-on Sekiro wall hopping agility, Elden Ring does at least do something different from what we’ve seen so far.

While a lot of people may complain about the graphics not being as good, that may be because of the device he has used to capture the footage. According to the original person who uploaded the video, “It’s couple weeks old but it’s from a Xbox One and not from a new Gen console. Also, the quality downgrades even more due to capturing it using external tools.”  Elden Ring is currently set to release January 21, 2022, on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
