Dragon Ball has been around for quite a while now, and its by no means a small show. The best selling manga started all the way back in 1984 and is still going strong today thanks to its latest iteration, Dragon Ball Super. However, when news broke out a couple of weeks ago that the show was coming to an end, people were disappointed. However, its time to turn that frown upside down because Dragon Ball Super is by no means finished.
A tweet was posted by the official Dragon Ball Super page on Twitter stated that the upcoming movie which was confirmed about a month ago will be a continuation of the anime series that is currently airing on television (a.k.a Super itself) and along with this, they released a promotional poster for the movie featuring the protagonist of the series, Son Goku, standing in front of a white background in his traditional orange gi, welding his Power Pole. A link was also posted in the tweet, which took users to the official site of the movie, with a word from the manga author, Akira Toriyama himself, in both English and Japanese. The poster also contains the release date of the movie in Japan, which for the moment is set to the 14th of December, 2018.
Toriayama stated that the movie would involve a ‘long awaited formidable opponent’ and would also shed light on topics involving Frieza and the Saiyan race. The author also talked about the manga that Toyotaro was writing, which was based off of the events of the anime.
