Dark Souls Remastered delayed on Nintendo SwitchAs per Bandai Namco, Dark Souls Remastered will come to the Switch in the summer of 2018.

Due to the nature of causality, we must announce that the Nintendo Switch version of [Dark Souls Remastered] will be pushed back to summer of 2018, and with it, the release of the Solaire of Astora amiibo,” Bandai Namco said on the official Dark Souls Twitter account. “PC/PS4/X1 versions will maintain their May 25th release date.

Rest assured, this time will ultimately be used to improve your journey to Lordran.

Namco also said that the release of The Solaire of Astora amiibo which also was supposed to arrive on the Switch on the same date has also been delayed to summer.

The PS4, Xbox One and PC versions of Dark Souls Remastered are expected to launch on 25th May itself. The porting process to the switch seems to have run into some obstacles. In the end however, if the port is solid, it will be worth the delay. Unlike the PC port of Ys VIII which is a buggy mess.
