The Ryzen 7 3800X is selling for 3K less, almost on par with the Ryzen 7 3700X. This is a pretty sweet deal. You’re essentially getting a 3800X for the price of the 3700X. You get a higher boost clock, more overclocking headroom, a higher TDP which directly translates into better gaming performance. If you’re building a gaming or content creation PC north of a lakh, then this is the CPU to get, and at this price, it’s a steal.
