Discounts and sales on computer hardware in India are quite rare. The only ones worth checking out surface during Diwali and Christmas. This festival of lights, we’ve got two deals from AMD for you: The Ryzen 5 3500 and the Ryzen 7 3800X are selling for a nifty 10% discount on MDComputers.

The Ryzen 5 3500 is AMD’s answer to the Intel Core i5-9400F. It performs on par (or almost on par) with the latter in gaming workloads while beating it in content creation and other multi-threaded applications. Although this isn’t really a fat discount, the 3500 is an excellent budget processor, ideal for a sub 1 lakh budget build.

Deal Price: Rs. 30,999 (Link)

The Ryzen 7 3800X is selling for 3K less, almost on par with the Ryzen 7 3700X. This is a pretty sweet deal. You’re essentially getting a 3800X for the price of the 3700X. You get a higher boost clock, more overclocking headroom, a higher TDP which directly translates into better gaming performance. If you’re building a gaming or content creation PC north of a lakh, then this is the CPU to get, and at this price, it’s a steal.
