Popular co-op game Borderlands 2 is free to play over the weekend on Steam, while a bunch of other AAA titles including Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor and the whole Assassin’s Creed franchise are available for a reduced price. These deals are part of the Steam Weekend deals that offer one major title for free to gamers over the weekend and it’s also heavily discounted in case they choose to buy it.
Borderlands 2 Game of the Year Edition is available for purchase with a massive 78% discount, and the Assassin’s Creed franchise is also offering varying discounts on all it’s titles ranging from 44-67%. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is the highlight of this deal, with a hefty discount of 66%. Apart from Assassin’s Creed and Borderlands, Ubisoft’s City Skylines is also available for a measly 25% of the regular Steam price. Indie horror game Dead by Daylight also has it’s price slashed for the next two days. Don’t Starve Together, another co-op game is also part of this week’s Steam weekend deals.
