In this post, we’ll show you how to build a 1080p capable gaming build for less than 50K. This PC should be able to run almost all modern titles at 60 FPS ultra without breaking a sweat. Without further ado, let’s get started:
Best Budget CPU for Gaming: Intel Core i3-9100F

Price: Rs. 6,150 (Link)
Cores/Threads | Base Clock | Boost Clock | Cache | TDP | Memory Support |
4/4 | 3.60GHz | 4.20GHz | 6MB L3 | 65W | DDR4-2400MHz |
Intel’s lower-end 9th Gen CPUs are actually quite competitive when it comes to gaming performance. The Core i3-9100F is a quad-core CPU lacking an iGPU, unlike most Intel chips. However, a boost clock of 4.2GHz and strong IPC delivers frame rates north of 100 FPS in most games. That’s more than what your graphics card will render, so don’t worry about a CPU bottleneck. Just a reminder, the 9th Gen i3 is comparable to the 6th and 7th Gen i7 flagships. All three are quad-core parts based on the Skylake core.

Best Budget Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 6GB

Price: Rs. 16,328 (Link)
Memory | 6GB GDDR5 |
Boost Clock | 1800MHz |
Cores | 1408 |
Mem. Clock | 8Gbps |
Bus Width | 192-bit |
PSU | 450W |
Dimensions | 228*131.5*41.5 mm |
Connectors | 1 x 6-pin |
Warranty | 3 Years |
The GeForce GTX 1660 is undoubtedly the best graphics card for 1080p gaming. While the GTX 1660 Super is capable of running most games at 1440p ultra, it’s slightly out of our budget and you don’t really need it for 1080p 60 FPS gaming. The Turing encoder on the 16 series cards will come in handy if you’re into streaming or YouTubing. Of course, you don’t get ray-tracing but then again none of the games in this bracket support it, so it doesn’t really matter.
Best Budget Motherboard: Asus TUF H310 Plus Gaming

Price: Rs. 6,170 (Link)
CPUs Supported | 8th & 9th Gen Intel |
Memory | 2 x DIMM, Max. 32GB @ Up to 2666MHz |
PCIe | 1 x PCIe 3.0 x16 2 x PCIe 2.0 x1 |
Storage | 4 x SATA 6Gb 1 x M.2 Socket 3 |
USB Ports | 4 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 port(s) 6 x USB 2.0/1.1 port(s) |
ASUS’ TUF lineup has some of the best gaming components you’ll find on the market. With a sturdy build and slick design, the TUF H310 gaming motherboard strikes the right balance between price and quality. It’s the ideal for pairing up with both the Core i3-9100F as well as the Core i5-9400F. With support for up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM @ 2666MHz via two DIMMs, a PCIe x16 slot for a dedicated GPU, 4 SATA ports and an NVMe, it should be sufficient for all your devices.
Best Memory for 40K INR Build: Adata XPG Flame 8GB DDR4 @ 2666MHz

Price: Rs. 2,250 (Link)
Unlike AMD’s Ryzen chips, the Intel Coffee Lake processors aren’t sensitive to memory, so there’s no need to splurge for an expensive kit. The Adata XPG flame has been tested to run at 2666MHz which is the upper limit for the Core i3. There’s no need to go with dual-memory in case of an Intel as the performance boost usually isn’t as pronounced. Regardless, if you feel strongly about it you may add another 8GB DIMM.
Power Supply: Corsair CX450

Price: Rs. 3,430 (Link)
The Corsair CX series is one of the best budget power supplies in the market. It’s not modular but does come with Bronze certification which is more than what you can ask for at this price point.
Cabinet: Antec NX300

Price: Rs. 3,250 (Link)
Antec has some really pretty cases in the entry-level and budget segments. Most of these cabinets come with RGB lighting, a tempered glass side-panel, gorgeous design overall.
Storage: Adata Ultimate SU630 480GB
Price: Rs. 3,820 (Link)
When you’ve got money for just one drive, it’s better to get a moderate-sized SSD rather than an HDD. If you can afford it, however, I suggest getting a fast SSD worth 3-4K bucks and a WD Black HDD for storing games. These days you run out of storage real fast.
Summary: Best Gaming PC Build Under Rs. 40,000
Component | Name | Price |
CPU | Intel Core i3-9100F | Rs. 6,150 |
Graphics Card | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 | Rs. 16,328 |
Motherboard | ASUS TUF gaming 310-Plus | Rs. 6,170 |
Memory | Adata XPG Flame 8GB | Rs. 2,250 |
SSD | Adata Ultimate SU630 | Rs. 3,820 |
Power Supply | Corsair CX450 | Rs. 3,430 |
Case | Antec NX300 | Rs. 3,250 |
Total | Rs. 41,398 |
Hardisk is not included i think so because 480gb ssd can’t be enough for storage
60 fps in csgo is just not enough for competitive play, doesnt mean we need to take it up a notch and get more expensive hardware. even a 10 year old pc can run can at 100 fps (source: mine). also single channel ram really diminishes your performance, best to go for dual channel, which the poster doesnt seem to know – so I took the liberty to say it myself. sure one more ram stick may cost more money but you can always find a way by trading ram stick for other less expensive component.
you are wrong
This setup would run csgo alabove 100 frams and you cimould upgrade the RAM to 32 later idlf you go for 8gb single for mow
It will if we buy a GTX 1650 super much cheaper than 1660 but has head to head performance with an rx580 , the price of 1650 super is 14,000 rs and buy saving a buck on our GPU we could spend it on CPU and buy ryzen 3 3200g much better than i3 9100f in overall performance and features, and am4 socket motherboards are also cheaper and ddr4 3000 mhz corsair vengeance 16 gb kit is under 6,000 rs like with this parts the overall performance will also be better than the build shown above
What about now 2021 ? Do u got any recommendations about any build?
Going for a Amd Ryzen 3 2200G processor might be better, mosly due to the really cheap A320 motherboards that are available supporting 3200MHz RAMs, which are priced very close to 2666MHz RAMs nowadays. (e.g., the Asus Prime A320M-K motherboard)
Why are you not using the and ryzen 5 2600 it is cheaper
Here is the best bang for the buck PC for 2020.
Trust me its a console killer and price is also way
below that of consoles.
AMD Ryzen 3600
B450 Motherboard
and Rx 570 for the GPU.
Enjoy and have a nice day.
