Gaming PCs and High-end CPUs generate a lot of heat, especially during intensive tasks such as gaming and video editing. Luckily, we’ve made a list of best coolers to cool your processor and keep the thermals under check.

Best High-End Liquid CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X72

    • Compatibility:
      • Intel Sockets – LGA 1151, 1150, 1155, 1156, 1366, 2011, 2011-3, 2066
      • AMD Sockets – TR4, AM4, FM2+, FM2, FM1, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2

    • Weight: 1.29 Kg
    • Noise Level: 25 dB
    • Price: ₹16,970 (Link

The NZXT Kraken X72 is an excellent choice for cooling high-end systems with a breeze. The triple-fan radiator design makes sure that the CPU remains cool during intense gaming/high-performance sessions. The liquid cooler is a good buy with only downsides being the huge radiator size which might cause trouble during installation in relatively smaller cases, and of course the price.

Best Mid-Range Liquid CPU Cooler: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i PRO RGB

    • Compatibility: Supports almost all newer Intel and AMD CPUs
    • Dimensions: 276.1 x 119.9 x 427 mm
    • Weight: 0.74 kg
    • Price: ₹11,350 (Link)

Powered by a 240mm radiator (2x 120mm fans), the CORSAIR Hydro H100i PRO is also a good option if you’re a bit tight on budget and still want a powerful liquid cooling solution. The cooler also features RGB pump to match the aesthetics of your build. The PWM fans work on magnetic levitation tech to reduce noise and work at up to 2400RPM speeds.

Best Entry-Level Liquid CPU Cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML120L

    • Compatibility: Supports almost all newer Intel and AMD CPUs
    • Dimensions: 225 x 215 x 139 mm
    • Weight: 0.87 kg
    • Price: ₹5,299 (Link)

Priced at just under 5,300 INR, the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML120L is one of the cheapest liquid coolers you can buy that are on par with other high-end coolers. It even syncs RGB lights according to your build. The cooler comes only with a single 120 mm radiator fan but still provides decent performance given the price. Go for this cooler if you strictly want a liquid-cooled system, because there are plenty of air-cooled systems which provide a better performance, given the price segment.

Best CPU Cooler under 5,000: Noctua NH-L9

    • Compatibility:
      • Intel Sockets: LGA1150, LGA1151, LGA1155, LGA1156, LGA2011, LGA2066
      • AMD Sockets: AM2(+), AM3(+) FM1, FM2(+)
    • Dimensions: 95 x 51 x 95 mm
    • Weight: 0.4 kg
    • Price: ₹4,999 (Link)

If you’re not a fan of liquid coolers, Noctua NH-L9 will suit your needs perfectly. This air cooler can out-cool many of its liquid-cooled peers, courtesy of its 120mm fan with PWM support and 4 heat pipes with 65mm instead of 37mm height. The Noctua NH-L9 is a great buy for ITX cases, HTPCs and other small form factor builds. Note that the high-end Ryzen chips come with a good enough stock air cooler out of the box and typically do not need a separate cooler.
