Get Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Free With Eligible Ryzen CPU Purchase Until October

With the launch of the Ryzen 3000XT CPUs, AMD is also going to give away a free copy of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla for eligible purchases. Announced as part of the “Equipped to Win” bundle, any purchase of a Ryzen CPU (above Ryzen 7 3700X) and select gaming systems between July 7 and October 3, 2020, will include a standard copy of Ubisoft’s upcoming game.

This points to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla being an AMD-partnered title over NVIDIA, which has been the case with the last couple entries. The game will also make its way onto the next-gen consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X), both of which use AMD’s Zen 2 and RDNA 2 chips.

This complimentary bundle is pretty neat for new PC builders right now, and Ryzen has some nice offerings across many budget-ranges. However, this particular bundle will only be limited to the higher-end CPUs, so if you’re planning on getting a Ryzen 5 3600, then you won’t get the game. On the other hand, people who are planning on getting one of the newly launched Ryzen 3000 XT CPUs will be happy to have a new game that hopefully taxes the system in a good way.
