Ubisoft in a blogpost has detailed the PC system requirements for the upcoming Assassins’ Creed Odyssey. Lately the company has been trying to woo PC gamers with well-optimized PC ports, detailed posts explaining the system requirements (such as this), including the exact setting and the targeted frame-rates.

Assassins' Creed Origins PC System Requirements Revealed By Ubisoft

If you haven’t already noticed, NVIDIA’s upcoming RTX cards aren’t on the list of supported video cards. Of course, they’ll be supported at launch, courtesy of NVIDIA’s robust driver team, but this points out the impact a hardware manufacturer-publisher partnership has on a game. Just till last year, Ubisoft’s games used to be studded with NVIDIA’s logos and Gameworks effects.

Since that deal with NVIDIA has ended, Ubisoft seems to have shelved all of NVIDIA’s proprietary effects and apparently hasn’t been privy to any secret info regrading of the company’s shiny new hardware.
