AMD Ryzen Powered Gaming Laptops with NVIDIA GTX 1650 on Sale for Rs. 50K (Limited Time Deal)

AMD’s Ryzen CPUs have been doing extremely well in every space lately, from gaming to mobile as well as the server line. One of the many unprecedented developments of the Zen architecture includes gaming laptops under 50K and RTX powered devices under the 1 lac mark (sometimes as low as 87K). During sales, these notebooks go for crazy prices. Yes, today is one of those days when you can grab a gaming laptop for cheap and giggle like a teenage girl.

  • ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DT
  • Price: Rs. 53,990 (Link)

The first laptop on sale is from ASUS’s popular TUF Gaming lineup. Packing a Ryzen 5 3550H and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, this laptop should be able to run most games at 1080p with ease. Just a while back, a laptop capable of gaming at 1080p ultra cost no less than 75-80K.

  • MSI Gaming GL63
  • Price: Rs. 87,990 (Link)

If you want something capable of 120 FPS ultra in every game you throw at it, then this is the laptop for you. Of course, it comes at a premium, but it’s completely worth it. The GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is a 1440p capable card and should serve you well at 1080p 120Hz. The Core i7-9750H is one of the best mobile gaming CPUs around, so no compromise there either. There are some other laptops powered by Intel i7 and i5 chips and a GTX 1650, but I’d suggest staying away from them.

Most games won’t be able to reach 100FPS using that GPU, so the CPU bottleneck will never factor in. For the Core i5-9300H or the i7-9750H, I recommend nothing short of a GTX 1660 Ti or an RTX 2060.

  • ASUS TUF FX505DY
  • Price: Rs. 47,990 (Link)

If you want the absolute cheapest gaming laptop capable of running modern games at 1080p with decent frame rates, then this is your best bet. It comes with a Ryzen 5 3550H and a Radeon RX 560X which is slightly better than the GTX 1050. For memory and storage, you get 8GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB HDD, respectively. A decent spec considering the modest price.

  1. Bro what about msi after sales and reliability of its hinge?
Almost every user on reddit has warned me of their bad after sales support. I have also found a lot many people affected by hinge breaking on normal use in msi laptops!

Please enlighten me on this as I really do find GL65 9SDK a very vfm product but unable to make a decision due to above factors.

  2. Thank you Areej for being so thoughtful.
I will surely update you about my purchase. Currently it’s hovering between Predator helios 300 ph315-52, MSI Gl63 (1660ti) and the ultra budgety Fx505dt ????
