
Yesterday, AMD unveiled their new Ryzen 4000 series of processors for mobile devices at CES 2020. These new chips are promising, in performance and price.
The new series will feature processors with up to 8 cores and 16 threads, and according to AMD, the new 4800U up to 4 per cent greater single-thread performance and up to 90 per cent faster multi-threaded performance than its competitors from Intel, and also up to 18% improvement in graphical performance.
ASUS announced that their upcoming TUF A15 and A17 gaming laptops will make use of these processors. They will also feature graphics from Nvidia, and high refresh rate displays.
Lenovo joined in, announcing that the new Yoga Slim 7 will feature a Ryzen 4000 series processor, along with a 14 inch full HD display.
