AMD’s upcoming Radeon RX 6600 series’ specifications now see some substance as GPU-Z screenshots featuring the RX 6600 series has leaked. The specifications of the graphics cards were earlier speculated by a Chiphell thread.

The leaked screenshots confirm the PCI Card IDs of the flagship RX 6600XT will have “73FF: C1” and the RX 6600 will have the Navi 23 “73FF: C7” variant. The rumours suggested that the RX 6600XT will have 2048 Stream processors, whereas the tone-down variant, the RX6600 will have 1792 cores. Both variants are purported to have 8GB of GDDR6 memory across 128-bit buses.

The upcoming Radeon RX 6600 graphics cards will be the first time budget gamers get their hands on a budget RDNA 2 GPU, if stocks last. For more about AMD’s new Radeon GPUs, check out our review of the RX 6700 XT, to which we gave the 1440p gaming crown. We expect the new cards to launch with FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR), which is AMD’s upcoming rival to NVIDIA’s DLSS. After all, AMD’s ray tracing performance is worse than NVIDIA’s at the moment, and without a performance-enhancing feature, the budget RX 6600 cards won’t be of much use in playing next-gen games.
