It seems like AMD’s board partners are gearing up for the release of the Radeon RX 590. Sapphire is planning to debut their Nitro+ design with dual fans and a fancy backplate.
Asus is expected to adopt an even beefier Strix triple cooler while PowerColor is going to use the Red Devil cooler design. The Radeon RX 590 will boast 2304 Stream Processors paired with 8GB of GDDR5 memory. As already covered in previous posts, the card will be based on a refreshed Polaris architecture on the 12nm node. The pricing and clock speeds are still not confirmed, but expect 10-15% higher boost clocks than its predecessor and prices similar to NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1060.
The RX 590 is expected to launch on the 15th of this month.
