The pricing for the Radeon RX 5500 XT has been leaked ahead of the imminent launch. According to Videocardz, the RX 5500 XT (4GB version) will be priced at $169 while the 8GB version will cost $199. This puts the former up against the GTX 1650 Super while the latter will compete with the GTX 1660.

The launch date for the two cards is later tomorrow. We can expect the local Indian prices soon. Going by the US prices, the RX 5500 XT 4GB will probably cost somewhere between 12-14K while the 8GB version will priced alongside the GTX 1660 at around 16-18K.

While the GTX 1660 is getting a price cut in the global market, I suspect the Indian market won’t see any fluctuations. Looking ahead, the RX 5600 XT should launch in January next year to take on the GTX 1660 Super and the 1660 Ti with a price of between $250 to $300. NVIDIA has already revealed their Turing cards and the next product will most likely be based on the 7nm Ampere architecture.

I love computer hardware and RPGs, and those two things are what drove me to start TechQuila. Other than that most of my time goes into reading psychology, writing (and reading) dark poetry and playing games.
