Earlier this week, it was confirmed that AMD will launch the Ryzen 3000 series and the Radeon Navi lineup at Computex ’19. It seems that AMD is looking to refresh its embedded processors as well. Reputed Twitter user, TUM_APISAK has leaked the AMD RX-8125, RX-8120, and A9-9820 with RX 350 on Reddit from the 3DMark database.

Assuming the RX-8120 and the RX-8125 are a refresh of the AMD V1000 series, both could be using the new Zen 2 micro-architecture and the 7nm process. However, this is unlikely as the Ryzen 3000 series is yet to be announced. Given that, it may well be that the embedded processors will be using the current Zen micro-architecture with the 12nm process and will be refreshed next year with the 7nm process.

The RX-8125 and RX-8120 are octa-core processors with 8 logical processors. The RX-8120 comes with a 1,700MHz (Base) and 1,796MHz (Boost) while the RX-8125 comes with 2,300MHz (Base) and 2,395 (Boost). The A9-9820 has the same specs as the RX-8125 and will probably add on to 7th Gen A9 APUs for laptops. It will also feature Radeon RX 350 graphics.

The RX-8120 and the A9-9820 have been listed by Avnet on their website which points to all of them being embedded CPUs, with the RX-8120 and RX-8125 for workstations and the A9-9820 for laptops.

The processors will probably be launched at AMD’s Computex event with the new Ryzen 3000 series and the Radeon Navi lineup. We might also be looking at a refresh of the EPYC Embedded 3000 Series with the new Zen2 architecture in the upcoming few months.
